Elliot Rubright

Deputy Rubright has been a sworn Peace Officer for 20 years. He spent 6 years in the Marine Corps deploying to Iraq twice. He spent the first 11 years of his law enforcement career with the Los Angeles Police Department and the last 9 with the Orange County Sheriff's Department. Deputy Rubright has worked a wide variety of assignments including Custody, Courts, Patrol, Gangs, Community Relations, Training, Civil Bureau, and Traffic Bureau. He is on the Sheriff's Department DUI task force and Major Accident Investigation team where he responds to fatal traffic collisions. Deputy Rubright is a drug recognition expert and instructor. He is currently on loan with the Orange County District Attorney's Office as a subject matter expert on driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
