Christine Carey
Educator, facilitator, and nonprofit leader focused on emotional wellness, recovery, and youth empowerment.
Christine Carey has dedicated more than 35 years to teaching, mentorship, and guidance in recovery and personal development. With a passion for helping individuals live healthier, more empowered lives, she has become a respected voice in education, emotional wellness, and transformational growth.
Throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, Christine was the co-creator and host of the television program Solutions, where she led social-interest interviews focused on addressing modern-day challenges through education, awareness, and practical guidance. The show also highlighted charitable organizations, and she contributed as a journalist for the program’s accompanying magazine.
Transitioning from production to education, Christine became a certified facilitator licensed to lead groups, conduct workshops, and coach individuals. She holds a Heal Your Life Workshop Leader Certification rooted in the philosophies of Louise Hay.
Drawing from these principles, Christine has developed customized curricula that integrate life-healing techniques through interactive exercises and educational experiences designed to cultivate self-worth and self-appreciation.
In 2013, alongside Tilly Levine, Christine co-founded Tilly’s Life Center, a youth-focused 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. TLC’s social-emotional learning programs are implemented in middle schools, high schools, and youth-serving organizations across Southern California and Israel.
Christine is the author of the organization’s foundational I Am Me curriculum, which provides a structured approach to developing essential life skills through supportive language, positive actions, and healthy habits. In 2017, she expanded her impact by creating the Me, My Brain, and I curriculum, focused on brain health, development, and helping youth better understand how their minds work.
She currently serves as Vice President of Academics at Tilly’s Life Center, where she oversees curriculum development, academic strategy, creative content, and meaningful partnerships with educational institutions.
